Two Anaheim groups join to help the community, including a donation of $1 for every FREE sign-up at DealsAnaheimFirst.com being given to the Anaheim Family YMCA Annual Gala.
“Give back, save big!” That’s the spirit of the Anaheim Family YMCA and Deals.AnaheimFirst.com as they unite from now until June 11 to raise money and share deals again and again for locals in Anaheim.
“We are excited to partner with AnaheimFirst on this fundraising initiative,” stated Dr. Rick Martens, President & CEO, Anaheim Family YMCA. “Their program helps boost Anaheim’s economy during the pandemic, and our Y’s mission is to serve the local community. With our common, community-centric goals, this partnership delivers the shop and support local on all levels.”
Deals.AnaheimFirst.com is a free savings program featuring dining and shopping discounts throughout Anaheim — including over 60 favorite local businesses. The program continues to add new businesses, and their Facebook and Instagram pages also feature regular free giveaways to participating locations.
Todd Ament, President & CEO of the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, shared the importance of this partnership, “Putting the community first, that’s what the Anaheim Family YMCA has succeeded at for more than 100 years. Making the community the priority is what AnaheimFirst is all about, too. This joint effort helps residents, businesses, and one of our city’s most historic nonprofit organizations.”
Through generous support from the community and the Gala, the Anaheim Family YMCA can continue to serve the education, physical fitness, camping adventures and personal growth needs of more than 20,000 locals — it’s a tradition that goes back over 110 years in Anaheim. For those interested in attending the Y Gala, tickets can be purchased at anaheimymca.org/news-events.
Anaheim is home to great business supporters of locals, including Frank Cozza, Jr., owner of Mama Cozza’s Restaurant, who shared. “We have a great community. Programs like Deals.AnaheimFirst.com allow us to go out in the community and give special opportunity for people.” And Javier Cuadro, owner of Urbana Mexican Gastronomy added, “Programs like Deals.AnaheimFirst.com are continuing to support us, and also we support the community by giving them discounts.”
